University of South Asia run DOLV course which addresses the growing need for well-prepared eye care professionals. Optometry is an eye health care profession concerned with the health of the eyes and related structures, as well as vision, visual systems, and vision information processing in humans. Optometrists are licensed medical professionals trained to prescribe and fit lenses to improve vision, and to diagnose and treat various eye diseases.

How long will it take?
Academic Session for Diploma in Optometry and Low Vision program shall extend over a period of 1 year, 3 semesters.
How often will I need to attend?
A student must attend all the classes. Up to three absences, per course, in a semester may be excused.
What qualification do I need?
This is a professional diploma course. Any one meet one of the following requirements are eligible for admission.
- Higher Secondary Certificate passed (Science group preferred)
- Successfully completed course from MATS.
- Diploma in Nursing completed
- Graduation in any subject.
When and how should I apply?
The University calendar is arranged so that students may start in January, May or September.
